In a small hamlet outside the city of Bergen lived a young married Viking couple. They
would care for their precious longships daily so that they could go out and raid hamlets
along the coast with their clansmen. They forged their living from the loot they would
wrestle from the armies along the coasts. They were very happy :)
On a fateful trip, they met with a sudden squall which left their longship limping upon
the sea. While working quickly to repair their ship, a nasty ship of Krolvin slave
merchants came upon them. The battle was fierce, but in the end both Ingrid and Bjorne
were taken captive and their beloved longship was left to sink to the bottom of the sea.
During the long sea voyage aboard the Krolvin slave ship, Ingrid and Bjorne made their
escape. When they took over the ship, they found they were much closer to this unknown
town called Wehnimer's Landing. They decided that this place would have to do since they
did not know the way the Krolvin had taken them.
Landing in this town was an experience as there were many who looked like them, tall as
the trees and as strong as the mountains! But the way of life was different from what they
were used to, raids were only done on the Krolvin or other critters who lived nearby. It
was looked down upon when they mentioned sacking the neighbors, so trying to fit into
their new home they began sacking the village of the ones who brought them to this strange
new land, the Krolvin.
They found they enjoyed their time in this town, and through much debate decided that a
Viking could settle down in this town called Wehnimer's Landing. Deciding to put down
their roots, they created a home for themselves and all Warriors alike. A home that stands
for something...a home for those who respect and follow the path of Honor, Strength,
Loyalty. And with the help of Lady Passion and Legend Metaboculous the foundation was laid
for Helden Hall. After almost two years of construction Helden Hall was opened on February
15th, 1997.
