A Guide to the Experience Requirements for the Warrior Mage guild

A note about calculation: To find out what your combined totals are in "Magic" type: EXPERIENCE MAGIC and add all of the given ranks together. To find out what your combined totals are in "Lore" type: EXPERIENCE LORE and add all of the given ranks together.

First Circle until 9th Circle

Primary Weapon = 3 x level (Primary Weapon is your weapon with the highest Rank)
Shield = 2 x level UC
Parry = 2 x level UC

Primary Magic = 4 x level
Harness Ability = 4 x level
Targeted Magic = 4 x level
Power Perceive = 2.5 x level
Magical Devices = 2.5 x level

Combined Magic = 20 x level

Foraging = 0.5 x level UC
Evasion = 0.5 x level UC

Mechanical Lore = 0.5 x level UC
Combined Lore = 7.5 x level

Tenth Circle

Primary Weapon = 30
Shield = 20 UC
Parry = 20 UC

Primary Magic = 40
Harness Ability = 40
Targeted Magic = 40
Power Perceive = 25
Magical Devices = 25

Combined Magic = 200

Foraging = 5 UC
Evasion = 5 UC

Mechanical Lore = 5
Combined Lore = 78
 

11th Circle until 30th Circle

Primary Weapon = 3.5 x level*
Shield = N/A UC
Parry = N/A UC
 
Primary Magic = 5 x level UC
Harness Ability = 5 x level UC
Targeted Magic = 5 x level UC
Power Perceive = 3 x level UC
Magical Devices = 3 x level UC

Combined Magic = 25 x level

Foraging = N/A UC

Mechanical Lore = N/A UC

Combined Lore = 12 x level

 
*Weapon requirements between Circle 11 and 30 are 3.5, starting at 12th. It is required to have 30 ranks for 10th, 34 for 11th, 38 for 12th, 41 for 13th, 45 for 14th, 48 for 15th, and so on . . ..

30th Circle and Up

Primary Weapon = 4 x level

Primary Magic = 5 x level UC
Harness Ability = 5 x level UC
Targeted Magic = 5 x level UC
Power Perceive = 3 x level UC
Magical Devices = 3 x level UC

Combined Magic = 30 x level

Combined Lore = 18 x level

EXAMPLE: If you are a Circle 2 Warrior Mage you will need the following to advance to Circle 3

Primary Magic = 12
Targeted Magic = 12

Combined Magic = 60

Combined Lore = 22.5

Primary Weapon = 9
Shield = 6

A note on Roleplaying: Since these requirements are not stated fully by Gauthus, and ranks are not a Fully In Character part of Dragonrealms, it is the updator’s recommendation that you refrain from speaking of this Guide whilest In Character, and use more generic terms while in such state . . . (i.e. I need but a bit more skill in magic to be worthy of the Next Circle)

 
I am adding my knowledge to this document from what I hath experienced and what I know of reports from Talac and Herpo on the message boards. I do not claim responsibility for the format or any other part of the document besides that of the factual information and the above note on roleplaying. As of this writing I am 15th circle, just. I hath not observed the specific requirements for magicks as the overall requirement meant that they were met well before circling, as my magical skills are well balanced. If you have any updated information, feel free to send it to Leolanthas, and I shalt update it.
