[Kornor, Shamrock Glade]
Dense overgrowth provides a great deal of shade, keeping the seeping mist low to the ground. A small patch of sham
rocks grows near a circle of rocks, providing a lush resting point for several dragonflies. The soft croaking of nearby frogs can be heard mingled with the songs of crickets.
Obvious paths: northeast.

[Kornor, Modwir Path]
The trail meanders around a grove of modwir trees. Resting to the side of a stand of particularly sturdy modwirs is a monir sign. A lazy butterfly flitters around the sign, wings shimmering from the misty haze that envelops the trail. You also see a small grove.
Obvious paths: south, southwest.

>l trees
Lacking in dense undergrowth, the small stand of trees provide a good deal of shade for the trail.

>l sign
The sign is carved of monir, and is dutifully pointing towards a grove of trees.
There appears to be something written on it.

>read sign
It reads:
Grove. Grave. Gruve. Grieve.

>l butterfly
The large butterfly dances around a monir sign. Its pastel wings are a flurry of white and green as it nimbly floats through the fog.

>l grove
Barely visible through an opening of ivy on the modwir trees is a small grove, obscured by fog.

[Kornor, Small Grove]
Nestled away in the many modwir trees is a small clearing. Ivy wraps around the bark of those trees that face the clearing, creating a secluded area that is not quite as foggy or full of insect songs as the rest of the woodlands. In the very center of the small grove is a single marble tombstone.
Obvious paths: out.

>l ivy
Clinging to the trees near the clearing, the abundant evergreen ivy has dark, five-pointed leaves.

>l tombstone
The small carved tombstone is crafted from white marble, and marks the resting spot of Gruve, the halfling bard and druid. Engraved on the clear surface of the marker is a dancing faerie, wrapped in an oversized shamrock.
There appears to be something written on it.

>read tombstone
It reads:
The sun slipped into a kettle of blood, alone and blessed, there I stood. Faeries prance and dance about, the dusky moon comes peeking out. I sit and ponder and rue the light, and marvel at this luscious night. My friends the beasts of evening shade, meet me in this darkened glade. We sing and dance on Kornor lawn, until the breaking of the dawn. And when the moon has gone away, we slumber deeply through the day.

[Kornor, Hemlock Grove]
Moss surrounds a bed of clover, flourishing in the damp environment. The trail continues through the drifting fog, and is occasionally spotted with thriving hemlock. The scent of the plant is light, but distinguishable in the damp air.
Obvious paths: north, south.

>look moss
Surrounding a small bed of clover, the brittle, grey-brown moss flourishes in the shade.

>look clover
The clover here has trifoliate leaves with small white buds.

>look fog
The hazy fog blurs the ground slightly, occasionally allowing a rogue tendril to creep out among the hemlock.

>look hemlock
The hemlock is freckled with small white flowers, and adds a unique scent to the woods. A tiny gecko crawls about the plant, with its comparatively large eyes shifting about the area.

>l gecko
Crawling near some hemlock, the small green gecko forages for food. It has large eyes with vertical, elliptical pupils. Its toes are quite expanded, and furnished with tiny sticky disks.

[Kornor, Lichen Clearing]
Kornor Trail ends with the opening of a ring modwir trees. A small pond sits in the clearing, dotted with lily pads and various leaves. A trickle of running water can be heard in the distance, along with the gentle whispers of a light breeze that helps to clear the area of any residual fog. Reflected in the water is some lichen that grows along the roots of a large modwir tree.
Obvious paths: north, northwest.

>l tree
This large tree sits near the pond, its exposed roots leaning out over the clear water. It spirals upwards, as though it were taunted and teased by the sunlight over many years.

>l pond
The pond is quite calm, and the water both deep and clear. The fog is much less noticeable here, where insects and frogs gather to flaunt their songs. Reflected off the water is a hole in the roots of a twisted modwir tree.

>l hole
Hidden under the exposed roots of a spiraling modwir, a narrow hole crawls up into the heart of the ancient tree.

>l lichen
The fungus grows with algae here, and forms a crustlike growth over the roots of a nearby modwir.

>l root
The exposed roots jut up over the pond from the soil. The water reflects the lichen covering the underside of the roots, along with a narrow hole that blends well into the shady scene.

[Kornor, Spiral Tree]
Quite large for a modwir, the hollow tree spirals upwards. Inside the trunk is a spacious area, free of sticks and leaves. Due to the severe spiraling of the plant, a roof is naturally made, keeping the interior warm and dry. A small cave-like hole opens up from the roots, only visible from the light reflected off the pond.
Obvious exits: out.

>l tree
The modwir twists its way upwards, impressively stubborn in its tenacity for growth. The floor of the tree is clean of debris, and provides for decent living conditions. Hanging from one side of the inner wall of the tree is a large black and green tapestry.

>l tapestry
The tapestry is prominently black, and has been embroidered with intricate, jade spidersilk stitching along the border. Inside the framework is a circular knotwork pattern, which twists many shades of green into one articulate design.

[Kornor, Willow Woods]
Whipping around the pond, Kornor Trail winds through a passage of several large rocks. A single willow tree guards the boulders with its protective branches, swaying slightly in the calm air. Although slippery with a thick layer of lichen, the rocks provide a short cut to the shamrock glade.
Obvious paths: west, southeast.

[Kornor, Woodland Path]
The scent of hemlock and forest spices sift through the air. Trees form a narrow passage through the woods that winds its way westward towards Kornor Keep. Various patches of multi-colored shamrocks and orange-hued flowers lie strewn about the area, catching and reflecting the fog-tinted light off their dew-tipped leaves.
Obvious paths: east, northwest.

>l keep
Visible in the distance is Kornor Keep, a large grey stone structure which sits on a hill that lies beyond the woodland domain.

>l shamrock
Not only are the tiny buds in this group of shamrocks red, but the leaves of the small plants have also taken on a violet-red appearance. Dew gathers on the delicate leaves, creating tiny goblets for the faeries of the land.

>l flower
These small flowers grow in clustered groups. They have vibrant orange blossoms and a honey-scented aroma.

[Kornor, Misty Vale]
Coursed with a quickly running thin stream, the woods here open into a shrouded vale. Mist rises from the damp ground, as pale rays of light work their way through the foliage of the rampant modwirs. A fallen tree lies across the stream, its limbs still green. You also see a large stone bench and a ring of mushrooms.
Obvious paths: southeast.

>l stream
Flanked by sand and stone, the stream diligently flows southward. A fallen modwir lies across one of the more shallow sections.

>l tree
This felled modwir lies across a clear-water stream. Ivy and fungus have already begun growing along its underside.

>l bench
Under a nearby pine, a carved stone bench rests in the shade.

>l mushroom
A ring of small, brown mushrooms grow in the shade of a fallen tree. On one of the more robust mushrooms, a plump caterpillar crawls about.

[Kornor, Foggy Hill]
Sitting under the broad canopy of a huge pine tree is a large stone bench. On the side of the tree is a green cicada, trying to be heard over the gurgles of a trickling stream. A light breeze sweeps through the grass, causing tiny eddies of mist to swirl through the area. You also see a misty vale.
Obvious paths: none.

>l tree
The coniferous tree provides shelter for a large stone bench. On the side of the tree, a cicada pokes around at an empty husk.

>l bench
The back of the bench has been carved from dark stone into a grey robed angel. Her chiseled feather wings are outspread, creating a protective roof over the seat of the bench.

>l cicada
The cicada has a broad head and nearly transparent wings. A high-pitched droning sound comes from its vicinity, as it pokes around a hollow brown husk.
